    Hand comparison thread!
Thought this would be a fun and useful thread.

Share pictures of your ball python next to your hand or being held! :D If possible, please include age and weight.

    Let the fun begin!

Hatch date 12/9/16. So he is almost 5 months old, and he is right around 100g. Going into his first shed while I have had him.

Are you more wanting to see size comparisons for future reference?

Yes but also in general. There are a fair bit of custom DIY projects I have in mind so I'm trying to grasp how big ball pythons get and how fast/at what age to expect them to grow.

I'll add some pics in a bit, but as I'm sure you know and you'll see through this thread, they grow at pretty different rates. There are lots of variables, including sex of the animal, feeding frequency, prey and prey size, etc...

But you'll hopefully get some ideas and some ideas for your DIY projects. I'm actually in the process of making some hides myself. So far there's been a bit of a learning curve, but the one I'm working on now seems like a keeper. :gj:

I'll grab a current "in hand" pic of Strudel tonight and you can see what a healthy 2 1/2 year old female looks like vs her baby pics!
