Curious About the Morphs of Two of Our Resident BP'S
Hello there! This is an account for Soul's Reptile Haven, a small rescue located in Alberta, Canada. We've got a couple of resident Ball Python's we are curious to discover the morphs of.
The first was purchased from a breeder at a reptile expo over a year ago as a pastel. However looking at her now we are fairly sure she is not a just a pastel! We've been thinking she's a Bumblebee (Spider x Pastel) since her markings look very similar to a Spider ball python we recently rehomed, but are not a hundred percent sure.

The second is a snake we got from someone on Kijiji who was downsizing the amount of snakes they owned. They told us she was a pastel, but now we're thinking maybe Mojave, Mojave x Pastel or Phantom x Pastel.

If you need better pictures of certain parts of them please tell me and I'll get them for you! We really appreciate the help. ^^

In my experience, when buying from a breeder, they know what they are selling you. So if 1st snake was labeled as a pastel it is what it is. I dont see any spider in the 1st snake, not sure what leads you to believe it may be anything more than what the breeder told you. What are you seeing that indicates spider?
2nd is most def a mojave..maybe pastel mojave.. but even then, the animal may carry the gene for pastel. But not show in its coloring.

Here is an example of a snake that does have the spider gene... as you can see, it doesnt look like the snake in the 1st pic...
This is my Connor, he is a killer bee. Super pastelxspider.. he came from a killer bee to pastel breeding.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...691d479238.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...280eb18291.jpg
