    is it feeding time already?
I'm not quite sure what to do... because my snake keeps moving quickly like it is searching for something... is that normal? because i thought they are supposed to be more calm

Can you give a little more history. How long you have had it, how old, tank conditions? It sounds like a stressed snake, but that's only a guess. Both of mine are relatively calm and unhurried even when in hunt mode. Although my rescue one almost climbed out of her cage but that was because she knew a mouse was there.

One of mine is like that. He is in the ideal conditions, and usually he spends his time in his hide. But he often sticks his head out, and if someone walks by he will come about 1/3 of the way out, looking like he wants to eat! After awhile he gives up. I feed him once a week, he is a fat fully grown adult male, not sure why he does this either.
