    Wire dome/CHE/ aluminum foil?
My 100 watt Che is in a wire dome fixture sitting on the top mesh lid. The wire fixture is large so the CHE itself sits a good 3-4 inches from the screen. Can I wrap aluminum foil over the top half of the wire fixture so that more heat is directed downward? I figure it would be safe, I make foil dinners over coals or my grill and I can pretty much use my hands to pick the foil up in those cases, so I know it is very resistant to heat. This CHE has read almost at 600 degrees. Each side of the wire fixture is AT LEAST an inch away from the Che. You guys think this would help direct more heat downward to help bump ambient temps a few degrees?

I don't know if normal foil will take that much heat. Those get super hot. But you probably could get away with the heavier duty foil. If not get chimney flashing. It's not super expensive and will go to like 1200°
