    Cleaning Cork?
I have a chance to snag a huge pile of used cork flats and rounds for a really cheap price. My questions are: would baking it in the oven kill spiders, mites, their eggs and any other creepy relies or spores...
if so, bake at what temp and for how long?
or is it still too risky/not worth the risk?

i would be careful with cork and heat in the oven, might not be able to kill everything without causing a fire.

Thanks. I'll give it a pass. It's not worth a fire or infestation.

As an FYI, five seconds at 135*F will kill mites and eggs. It takes a bit longer at lower temperatures.
