Reasons female won't lock.....

Apart from the obvious "I have a headache" lol is there a set of reasons that would cause a female to reject a male? I mean reject as in move her tail away every time he approaches ready to lock her? Or could that be down to the male being a first timer and not sure what exactly to do? Xx

Some pairs just don't "gel"

There are a few tricks that seem to encourage mating - misting, shed from another male etc. But at the end of he day if she doesn't like him there is no way to force the issue.

Candles, rose petal bedding, gourmet mice, maybe some wine.
