Pets or hobbies

As the title says, How many people consider their noodles pets and how many a hobby? :)

Both of course because animal hobby is pets by definition in my opinion

i guess in my mind a pet is more than a animal that lives with you and you take care off, but rather an animal which you have a strong/ close emotional bond with, whereas a hobby is something you do to keep yourself entertained, relax, focus on, and where the primary emotions are like pride, enjoyment, relaxation, rather than love and friendship
