    Ball python question
Paired my female normal/fire Royal python together with my male royal python for the past couple of months, witnessed two locks, she was on and off food throughout this time, they last locked on last Friday night, I separated the pair and attempted to feed in which the female took her small rat and the male wouldn't feed so give the female the spare rat which she took straight after the first rat, tried to feed the male again tonight as he's been cruising round his enclosure. He once again wouldn't feed so offered to my female and again she took it, that's 3 small rats in less than a week. Is this a sign of building follicles and preparing herself for an ovulation?

    Thanks

Some will be voracious, some will not, some we stop feeding soon as introduced, some will feed until they ovulate this alone is not a sign.

Where is your female usually located when resting on empty stomach?

    Have you palpated her?

She's been on and off the cool side when missed a feed. Yes tried to palpate her and didn't feel anything but maybes I'm not doing it correctly
