a new first for me

Last night was loads of fun. I got to experiece my snake urinating on me for the first time. :bleh: :rolleyes: I think I could forgo that experience in the future. That is quite a bit of fluid that comes out. I knew it would happen sooner or later and when I pulled her out I thought she looked a little bloated. Shoulda gone with the gut instinct that said it was time to put her back in the cage. :) :laughing:

Oh that's too funny Christie! Guess it had to happen tho. I've been lucky so far that the snakes haven't used me as a handy potty tho they've nailed both Mike and our younger daughter.

LOL, same thing happened to me monday. but it wasnt my bp that did it. I was at a pet shop handling a mexican black king snake and she got me good. all over my foot.

It was March when I bought my first ball python, so it was rather cool here in Ohio. In order to keep my new baby warm, I put him, in his cloth bag, inside my coat to share my body heat. Well, he must have somewhat freaked 'cause I had snake pee all down my shirt before I got home. :O :rolleyes: I think thats their way of telling you they like you. Yeh, yeh, that's it... ;)

LOL! :lmao: Oh that must have been a fun ride home. :bleh: ;) That's definitely a very quick initiation. Oh Joanna I remember when your daughter got it, that was too funny. Something about motherhood really makes you immune to being grossed out. I've been peed on , pooed on, vomited on, and have them wipe their nasty little boogers on you. No big deal in the scheme of things, but it still was a little surprising. My first thought was to catch as much as possible so it didn't hit the floor. :weirdface Then I remembered, hey this isn't cool. Another example of why I need help. ;)

My first ball python did them to me when I was holding him in the Reptile House (It's a petstore, but it's not a chain and the owners breed ball python morphs themselves). All over my hands.

I had a 6.5' BCI explode all over me. That was fun.

Omg Christie that got me laffing! That's how my older sister defined when she "knew" for sure she was a mom....when it was easier to let the baby puke on her foot rather than have it hit the carpet!

Yep motherhood (and fatherhood to be fair) will teach you many things not the least of which is you are VERY washable! :rolleyes: I'm still working on teaching my 4 year old that mommy does NOT want to see every bit of nose gold he mines.

Pets are just way less gross then kids!

This happened today in my house! A friend of mine brought her kids over to see my critters, and Ryan, her 6 year old, is in love with Atreyu. He held him for at least 2 hours...then I guess Atreyu had enough. He let loose big time! But of course, Ryan jumped out of the way, and the mess got all in the carpet. Ugh!
