Smaug is easily confused

Just sharing a little moment with my BP that made me laugh this afternoon.

He was having a nice wander on the table when I had him out in the living room just now and got completely perplexed by a mug of tea (he was about 10cm away from it and stopped dead). Waved his head from side to side, having a good look at it, flicking his tongue like crazy. Did this for a good couple of minutes. Perhaps he thought it might be some kind of strange cylindrical animal because it was quite warm. :rolleyes:

Eventually he decided the mug was just too weird for him and decided to turn completely round on himself and crawl back to me.
