    UV Lights, Basking, and Infrared
    Hi

So I see that there are uv lights, basking light and infrared RHP.

What is the best for BP? do they need uv?

    Any advice will be helpful.

    Thank you

No light whatsoever is required by a BP.

But if Ill buy and put RHP in the cage for heating that will be good right?

    Thanks

Belly heat. Flexwatt, heat tape, or a heat mat, any of which you choose requires a thermostat (something that controls the heat on them), I think Amazon has a sale on a thermostat for reptiles for like 20$ on one that's normally 50.

Lights and BPs don't mix. If they are heating the enclosure, they're taking your humidity out. If you have heat sources inside the enclosure, you have a cooked reptile.

People do use successfully use RHP's. I do not use them since I am 100% rack based. If that is the direction you want to go hopefully someone will jump in that has done it. The simplest and easiest maintained containment is a tub with heat tape and a thermostat unless you can maintain ambient between 84 and 88. If that is the case, no supplemental heat is required.

    Thank you for your answers.

So, I have this themostat and he can have up to 3 heat sources to connect with.

The problem is that it only have one probe.

I'm thinking to use the probe to measure the UTH temp but what about the RHP? Do I need another thermostat for the RHP?

    Thank you

If you have a uth you probably don't need anything else (probably, its based on the setup). And yes, you'd need something else. Consider this when setting up a thermostat controling multiple sources: Everything is identical and your fine, something is different and you need another one. The thermostat doesn't know how much energy to supply to which outlet, so it supplies equal amounts (which I'm pretty sure are based on %)

    First they don't need UV

Second there is no best it's about providing proper temps and humidity so depending on the substrate and humidity one might be better suited than another, just like some are more efficient than other.

Remember heat travels up, lights may dry out your enclosure.
