Time to turn on the incubator?
So I have never once witness an ovulation on gal that I could say to myself "yes! right there, that's ovulation!". About a week ago I saw her looking very plump with a classic tail suck and thought...maybe. Well she's been camped out on the hot side all curled up like this ever since. If she sheds soon I'm thinking were a 'go' for some eggs. Fingers crossed for a pixel pied! I had a great clutch last year but no one looked like daddy.

Have you palpated for follicles? I would turn the incubator on and make sure everything is running smooth. It's always better to work out any kinks prior to the eggs going in :-)

I am also the *worst* at palpating follicles. ...there's no shame in admitting what you're no good at, right? ...right?

I'm warming up the incubator as we speak. I like having it run for a while before the big show. :)
