A salmon is a Rich Ihle line of hypo BCI. Like here is my male salmon DH snowglow from 2nd Alarm Reptiles.

Thanks for the reply. To clarify things more, you mentioned Ihle line. What does "Ihle" mean? and hypo BCI. What does "hypo" mean?

    Re: Salmon Boa
Rich Ihle is the breeder who developed the Salmon bloodline (google "line breeding"). Hypo is short for hypomelanistic, a genetic mutation wherein a snake has a reduced amount of dark pigment in its skin. So Salmon is a specific type of hypo, but most hypos are not Salmons. A true Salmons must trace its lineage back to Rich Ihle's breeding project. Incidentally, hypo (nor any morphs) is not a sub-species, it is a genetic mutation found within one species, Boa Imperator. There are morphs to be found occurring in other species and sub-species of boa, but the vast majority are imperators.
