Hanging out with my buddy..

Taking advantage of this gorgeous day and hanging out with Sandor by the pool! He now weighs 406 gr. at 9 month old. He looks bigger then he is, I think.. ;)

He is such a good boy!!

I love his eyes. He is a really cool looking snake. How has his body language been? Is he being jumpy at all or real mellow still? Does he still want to stay on your lap or is he exploring at all?

I can pick him up without any huffing, puffing or hissing.

When we sit in our "TV spot" he usually just gets comfy and stays put. Not in a nervous way. His body is relaxed and he will move around a little bit, but stays on my lap.

When I walk around he "watches" intently where we go. Outside, he will explore and move around more, I think he doesn't like the bright sun, though ;) But there is no huffing and getting frantic at all, more like a "is there some shade around here somewhere". Taking him back to the tub is easy, he KNOWS the room and turns towards the tub as soon as we walk in. He then slithers down calmly and picks a hide. He doesn't "run" off ;)

All in all, doing great! I cannot complain :)

It really is! I always laugh when people call Ball Pythons "pet rocks" because mine love to move around and I have to keep an eye on them when we hang out on the couch.

Now Sandor, he is a great couch/TV buddy...he gets comfy and then we are ready to watch. He makes watching TV much more interesting because I keep looking at him and admiring him and how his little googly eyes move around :)

The longest I make him sit with me is through one episode of a show I watch. And we don't do that every day. But he really doesn't seem to mind at all, as a matter of fact he seems to fall asleep. haha..

At least Bloods have a slower metabolism so you dont worry so much about a accident. I put a big beach towel on my lap. Sophie lasted through "The Walking Dead" a couple weeks ago hahahaha

The mess they leave you is about as big as they are, LOL. I could show you pictures ;)
