    No poo action
Bix is a great eater and he usually poops a few days after feeding, 4 at the most I think. He ate 9 days ago and I haven't seen anything in his tank. His climate is stable, same as always, 88ish on the hot, 82 in the middle, 77 on the cool with a water temp of 70-72. His tank is in my room - zero foot traffic and I'm never in there either, also no change in behavior, so I know it's not stress. He was ready to eat last night but wore himself out trying to eat tail-first. Hopefully I'll come home to a poo tonight but if I don't, 9 days isn't normal is it?? He's 8 months old. Should I feed him despite that? I know he's hungry..if he's blocked up or something (?) is there anything I can do that won't stress him out too much?

Also should mention he's getting pink belly and looking a little lighter, which makes me assume that he may be a week and a half out from a shed, and I'm not sure if this could be a factor

I wouldn't worry, as 9 days isn't abnormally long for a BP, especially if husbandry is on point and there is no strange behavior. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes when he sheds, that's what mine seem to do most of the time.

And to answer your question, it is fine to feed him as normal [emoji4]

Thanks so much I really appreciate the assurance, he always has me paranoid. He'll definitely be happy to eat tonight :) he's basically a garbage disposal

Definitely wouldn't worry about this. Sometimes mine do this.

I wouldn't sweat it, especially since you say you see the pink belly. You'll probably see a poo next to the shed skin in a week or so.

9 days is nothing to worry about. Even when he was only 6-8 months, mine would wait for 3 weeks sometimes. Now he rarely poops more frequently than every month, and never when he sheds for some reason. As long as he's still passing urates and doesn't look like he needs to poop for a long time but isn't doing so, I don't worry much. He goes when he feels like it.

Im actually going thru something very similar. My snake hasn't pooped in about 3 weeks. Granted she hasn't shed in about that much time and she almost always poops when she sheds. She has been eating regularly so I'm not really concerned. Just waiting for the bomb to drop.
