    uth thermostat probe placement
    Can I put my uth thermostat probe directly on the heat pad instead of under the substrate inside the enclosure? It is hard to get the wire in the tank being as it has a screen lid.

    It's supposed to be in direct contact with the UTH (sandwiched between it and the enclosure normally). So, yes.

    (as long as it is the thermostat probe and not the thermometer probe you're talking about)
