Is this a feeding problem ?!!

Hi ,
This is my third post today ..
I am new and I purchased BPs
One of my BPs is just one month age .. She is Albino Female
And she ate one time only from 25 of Fab. and till now sh refuse to eat ..:tears:
What Can I do and Why This happen?
I changed the Place and it is cage for three times ..
She just want to go out the cage
I try both Live and frozen and Not Eat .
Should I try Forced Feeding
No signs for any disease and she is active زز
The seller said he do not recognize any feeding problem previously and she is is in small rack system when I purchase her ..
Can Anyone help me please

How can a BP be one month of age while eating exactly a month ago? Do you mean it was one month when purchased? If so BP hatched and only start to feed 2 weeks after hatching, a 1 month old animal is an animal that has had 1 or two meal maybe 3 with the breeder which cannot be used to gauge whether the animal is a problem feeder or not.

DO NOT assist this is for animals that do not know how to eat or must be assisted because of other health issue leading to their demised.

Husbandry for an animal of that age is very important if you have not done so already here is what you need to do to a T https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...-hatchling-101

In the majority of young BP failing to eat with their new owner it is 90% husbandry related, wrong setup, over handling, stress etc.

If you got them very recently I'd give the young one at least a week with no handling to settle in before trying to feed. Like Deborah said make sure everything else if perfect before you even think about force feeding, that will only stress the snake out. If she has eaten before she should be able to do it again, as long as your husbandry is correct.

The good thing is that she has already HAD one feed with you so that is positive , I feel .

Maybe be worth you outlining your set up , temperatures warm end and cool , details of his you are heating , is the heater regulated by a thermostat , type of thermometer you're using ...

Live or defrosted ..... how and when offered to snake ...

As much info as possible I'd say.

Actually I have two BPs from Same Clutch , Same shop , same rack system , same size .. in same positions ..
As you can see in the photos the bigger enclosure is for this one not eat and the other one for the one who always eat with less weekly basis .. !
WHY and What I can do ..
One guy advise me to put some garlic on the prey ( the Fish food type come with garlic ingredients ) .. is that true .. He said BP love garlic and make them active to eat ..

Well to be honest I've never heard of Royals liking garlic .... Could be right but kinda sounds like he was joking around ...tbh

What's fish food got to do with anything , anyway .

I don't even know any fish that like garlic unless it's one of those weird things that they use to lure Carps to bite ??

Again do this to a T (that means tub size, bedding, hide, temps, prey offered etc) https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...-hatchling-101, your tub is too high and there is not enough security provided and forget about garlic.

yes, like Deborah said, the space is to wide open, to light, to exposed!

If the Rack is "open" then tape dark paper around the sides of the tubs, add hides to them. Use smaller tubs.

The snake has to feel safe. In oder to do so, it has to be able to get into dark, small spaces.
