    Baby Dumerils in a rack?
Could I raise a baby Dumerils boa in a Reptile Basics Iris CB-70 rack, one that also houses ball pythons? It seems like size size it would be okay for some time, but I am wondering about temps? I would move them as a sub-adult or adult into plastic pvc caging of some type- like AP cages.

Yes, it would work until they are about 2~2.5 years old or so. Dums are a cooler species though, so their hot side temps should be only 85~87.

So if I temp scan my bins, I would want to choose the slot with the lowest temps? I keep my BP racks at 88 degrees.

88 is actually fine, yeah! Most people keep their BP's on a 90~92 hot spot, which is a bit too hot for dums.

I will check the temps on all my bins then. I have a lead on a well started baby dum, and it's just too good to pass up.
