My heart attack of the evening!
Got home from work with one of the kids and as I'm passing by the terrarium, I peek in there to check and see where miss snek is.... annnnnnnnndddd she's nowhere to be found!
Not under her warm hide, cool hide, not behind any plants, not burrowed in the substrate.. no open parts she could have escaped through (top and front locked and secured)...it was like she vanished!.... I panicked and opened it up and started ripping it all apart....
Guess where I finally found her? She somehow SQUEEZED herself (I have no clue how because it was jammed in tight) BEHIND the foam backing that I had at the back of her cage (it's an exo terra terrarium, so the one it came with) and I guess got herself trapped back there.
I yanked it out and she was all alert n pissed off and kinda chilly so I put her into my shirt and immediately re-did her terrarium, gave it a quick clean, threw that foam backing away and got her all squared away and put back
I'll be getting some black poster card paper to put around the three sides instead to give her more privacy, and most importantly NO MORE foam backings... I can't believe she was able to do that!
Clever girl.......

Saaaaaame here's his smug little "whoooo me?" face when I found him back there for the fourth time. To be fair I have a Zoomed tank and had to cut the panels to fit sideways so there was a small gap to fill. Luckily now he's too big and I fastened it to the back wall of the tank with duct tape that is on the very very top of the foam attached to the rim of the tank where he couldn't dream of touching it. He kills me.
