    Listed as a female pastel
What is this morph? I'm fairly new to this whole ball python thing, but I'm learning the morphs. It's listed as a female pastel. To me it has too much red and just looks like there is at least one other gene in there. Any help? Am I totally wrong and it's really a female pastel?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...1af341c473.jpg

Her father is a lemon blast and her mother is a pastel. So she must be a really pretty pastel lol she's 84 grams. How much would you pay for her?

She's definitely a pastel, probably among some of the nicer single gene ones I've seen. Very clean, no dots and not much speckling in the alien heads, and crisp pattern. I'd pay 30, maybe 40 all together, probably no more than that though as she isn't het for anything. Maaaaaaaaaybe 50 because she's such a pretty girl and I like the reduced pattern in her alien heads. Would be a nice, solid female to eventually add to a breeding group imo. Are you local to them or would you have to have her shipped?

Thank you! They want 100 plus shipping for her. If she was something more then only a single gene, I would have got her because she is absolutely beautiful. I just got a beautiful fire bee for the price of her though lol he's on the way this week. I also have a butter spotnose male and Mojave female. I want another female so that I can breed them all one day. Any interesting females that you guys think I should look out for?

I just checked out Morphmarket, looks like top breeders are selling pastels for $125, quite a few for less than that, one as low as $20. It all depends on what you are looking for in a snake, some people like certain patterns or colors. Being a female she will get more valuable with age, probably as much as $300 for an adult breeding size female.

Being fairly new (but very researched) to this breed, I find that I like a lot of different morphs 😂 it can easily become an expensive hobby for me if I let it. The hubby and I have already thrown around the idea of a snake room and future breeding. I want to eventually breed quality snakes that are decently priced. I don't wanna make a killing at all, but I'd like for it to maybe pay for some other hobbies. Very vague explanation as to what I want, but there's so many choices 😂

(just specifying for anyone reading) Ball pythons are a species, not a breed- snakes don't have breeds.

I actually breed a lot of animals and I always find a way for the animals to pay for themselves plus little more on the side. You can breed and sell babies, buy and resell bedding, or sell food, etc... It's actually a benefit to having animals produce a good amount of money, you can use that money for upgrading their cages / enclosures, living conditions, and better food, etc. Having an animal hobby shouldn't break the bank, then it's a burden. There are lots of creative ways to keep it afloat.
