Anybody have any Aregentine Boas? What's their temperament generally like? I heard they are hissy but is that just a bluff or are they really agressive?

I have a friend with a pair. They can get rather large, and seem to be the least arboreal of the boa constrictors. The hissy/defensive behavior is somewhat exaggerated. The same is said about carpet pythons and other species. Captive breeding has come a long way and you can find wonderful BCO specimens.

The BCO can tolerate much lower temps than the other species of BC.

There are some wonderful looking specimens out there and they are underrated IMO.
