Break the fast

Well it happened again this year, at the same exact time as last year for pretty much the same duration of time. My BP went on a eating strike. 3 months of no interest in any food or scent of food but she just broke the fast this week. It's cool to see her consistency year to year with the same break in eating. I jump started her with a little snack of a live mouse even though her normal meal is a small rat.
Throughout this time I only offered about 5 meals and the last one I waited a month before offering this mouse. She came out of her hide, tongue flicking ready to strike and I was so elated to see this.

Nice animal, I think fasting comes with the territory. :D I got a boy that just hit the 3 month mark.

Got a boy approaching the 7 month mark now. Getting really antsy with it as he's just beginning to lose some weight. Think I might offer him a mouse or an asf soon to hopefully start him back up.
