Surprised I've seen nothing on here about this. I think Ax may be interested for obvious reasons.

ha! glad Brian caught that before it got bad.

there was also a python that got trapped in it's own shed and went round and round in circles last year: https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...Life-Ouroboros

i wonder how Ouroboros will grace us next?

Yeah, I'll tell you what though... Nothing bothers me. I was in the military, worked on farms, worked in a hospital, done my share of hunting so I've seen unpleasant things, but this video of all things got my stomach rolling.

Years backs Sean Bradley at Exotics By Natures had something similar happening with one of his kings, it happens but it's rare.

Thanks for that link ... very interesting indeed ....

I actually really like the guy himself , his staff , snakes and videos .... All that said ... I hate the rack / rub system they use . I'm surprised they don't have loads of fitted out vivs for showing off the best display snakes ... If they are there , my apologies , I've just never noticed any .

I initially wondered if there was maybe some mouse odour or blood on its lower end from its last meal but he said it was fed 5 days before ..

I have noticed that my Albino snakes ( Royals , Garters and the Cali King ) seem to have rather poor eye- sight in comparison to the rest especially when the there's food around ...

This guy for example , strikes and bites anything and everything apart from the mouse - when I'm feeding him !!

Albinos do in fact have worse eyesight! With ball pythons it tends to be not as noticeable because they hunt more with their heat pits, but for visual hunters, like kings, they can get things terribly wrong sometimes.

Yeah, I don't believe my normal albinos see that well either. The jury is still out on my lavender. To me brian's snake looked pretty thin and floppy on the back end, so maybe a combination of it being a king and a little hungry? I don't know squat about kings so my opinion isn't worth much. I can't imagine in a million years that a ball would do this. I celebrate when they eat rats on a regular schedule.

Is that one of your garter snakes? Looks just like one of my albino checkered garters that recently passed.
