    What next....
So this is the time of year I make purchases so I thought I'd try to get a couple opinions. This little guy was one of my holdbacks from last season. He is an Enchi, Phantom, Pinstripe. He was bred back to his mother (Enchi), a killerbee, and a Pastel this season. Two of them look like they will produce this year. I have high hopes for a Super Enchi version of him. Any suggestions to further refine this guy. I have been looking at some lightening stuff but the hypos I have seen appear washed out to me and not to my taste. Maybe OD?

This is him out of the egg. He has darkened a little and oranged up a bit but looks pretty much the same but is already a big boy for his age at 700 grams.

I think an OD fire girl could suit you well ;)

Definitely aim for Super Enchi - an Enchi Leopard perhaps? Maybe start a recessive project and add an Enchi Pied girl for him?

OD, Fire it may be. Now I have to find a good one 2015 or older. Pied sounds good, but i am already running two recessive projects and don't have room for another one. Don't wanna steal Deborah's thunder either. LOL. With any luck I will have the super enchi version of this guy in a couple months. If I don't get it this year and his sisters keep growing like they are I will have much better odds next year. Any other suggestions are welcome.

I agree with the hypo stuff, it's not for me either, I need contrast. I'm sure you know this from the other post recently but he sure would look good with desert ghost:) Too bad recessives are such a pita lol. Otherwise I agree, orange dream and or fire could do a lot for him.

I would consider yellowbelly to add to the potential.

Super OD, OD Leopard, Fire OD would be what I would pick if it was my project.

OD Leopard was just what I was going to say next. Gotta get Leopard into projects with BEL complex animals!

This will definitely happen next season. I had already started breeding all my yellowbelly complex stuff to my highway when I realized he might be ready. He really surprised me, threw him in with mom and they locked within ten mins.

Yeah. Leopard really does some nice stuff with BELS, I just have never tried it. Was super focused on producing supers and ALS as well as getting recessive genes in place. My endgame with my BELS is the best BEL genes I have packed into RELs both normal and lavender albino. That was THE snake until I saw a pastave highway.

The little guy in question was a surprise. I bred to enchi just because "everything goes better with enchi" I did not expect something that looked that good out of that clutch. The kicker is he has two brothers from the same clutch that look just like him.
