I would appreciate advice on setting up the thermostat probe, as well as the temp i should set it to (i have a mini uth) and how to introduce the thermometer's probe through the screen top of my tanks (as well as where to put it and with what). Also, i feel like im getting a good deal, what do you think? Thanks again people! Youre all great!

Nice... The only thing I have different is the other model Acurite that has the Probe on it. That way its one unit for everything, humidity, indoor temp, outdoor temp (on probe) all on one screen.
Your Noodle is going to be one happy camper with everything Spot on:gj:

As far as wires (i hate them lol) I use Silicone on my 40 gal long for the Thermometer wires & Probe. I also wrap the wire in electric tape (only about 1" of it) where it gets pinched under the screen frame so it doesnt cut the wire insulation agter a while.
I use Silicone to glue the Probe to floor under the substrate (i use butcher paper) above the UTH in the Hot Hide. I also spot Glue with Silicone the wire in a couple places for extra security and then apply A LOT in the corner of the tank and use my finger to completely go over the wire all the way up to the Lid in the back corner.
This has kept my snake from getting all wrapped up in the wires since I did it. Drives me crazy hahahhaa

Glue the probe inside, right on the glass? On top of the uth where the snake stays? Wont that melt the silicone? (We are talking about a hot glue gun right?)

You have to order online. They arent in stores. They also sell them on Amazon but now that people know what we use them for they try to get more on Amazon. Dont pay over $20. They are great though. We all use them.
Take the Model # and they are on Amazon too. Then you can cancel the ZooMed one too.

The Thermometer Probe goes where the snake sleeps on the floor above the UTH. I use Silicone not Hot Glue. Hot glue seems to crack and break off, Silicone is Rubber, flexes and doesnt break... And no 90 degree heat does nothing to Silicone or Glue.
Your Thermistat (TStat) goes outside the tank under the UTH itself. Have you seen the Thread on setting up a glass enclosure? Its a awsome thread.

My uth is already stuck, can i put it on the non-sticky side? With aluminum tape or silicone as well?
