Good News: YES! They can go together!

Other News: The timing to produce it yourself starting with reese will go something like this:
    1. Purchase Clown Pied female - if hatchling, grow up for 2-3 years before you can pair with reese
    2. If pairing is successful, hope you are lucky enough to produce a male Coral Glow Mojave double het Clown/Pied
    3. Grow this male up for about a year and pair to your Clown Pied female
    4. If pairing is successful, hope you are lucky enough to produce an animal that has all 4 genes (1 in 16 odds)
    5. Celebrate!

It's good to have goals! :gj:

thanks eric. im still trying to figure out all the gene stuff. lol but in your opinion should i buy an hatchling or an adult? this is my end goal so of course it will take time to get all the right things in place first.

It would save you at least two years if you buy a breeder pied clown however it is highly unlikely you will find one for sale and if you do it will be $$$$$$$$$$$

I will always recommend starting off with hatchlings - especially to those new to the hobby. There are things about keeping ball pythons that just come easier with personal experience and time. Also, good luck finding an adult female Clown Pied for sale (even a hatchling won't likely be easy to find). If you do happen to find an adult, you're talking small car purchase price (even a hatchling won't be cheap by any stretch of the imagination). ;)

Anything is possible so long you are patient and there are several ways to depending on how much patience you have and how much money you can invest.

I can tell you that to produce my first double recessive it took me 9 years and that was starting with a pair of het pieds and a pair of het albinos, back than Pied and Albino were VERY expensive so I work my way making Albinos and Pieds and than making Double Het and finally making Albino Pied so the same can be achieve with Clown Pied to later on incorporate to a CG Mojave.

Again a lot has to do with the budget if I was gonna do it I would get A Mojave Pied Male and a Coral Glow Clown female (those would be valuable assets in the future (especially the female)
