Maybe I'm a control freak but I really like the idea of having everything spot-on and completely automated. I work 14 hrs a day so there's not much I can do if something goes awry at home, that's why I like to put technology in for some use.

For this, I looked at the HerpKeeper Pro Net that seemed like anything I could ever need to control my lil' girls' viv.

But I can't seem to find much reviews or comments or much anything about it and that makes me nervous for such a "magnificent product" (in theory)

The second I checked out was the EcoZone ECO500 seems like a similar product but I really don't get to understand fully how or where to connect everything.

I understand it gets the job done but I don't fully understand it.

The third and last but not least I found was the Spider Robotics Herpstat 6

Same thing, pretty much same functionality, even a similar display as the ecozone.

I ordered the herpkeeper but still haven't arrived and can still make up my mind.
What do you guys use and what do you recommend?!?!

Herpstat is the only one I've used and I'm very satisfied with it.

Funny story, I just basically asked the same question last night. My idea was
    - AP enclosure
    - Flexwatt UTH
    - ProProducts radiant heat panels above
    - 2 fluorescent light fixtures
    - ProProducts Misting system
    - Herpstat 6.

In theory, you could have the UTH, Radiant panels, fixtures, and mister all on separate channels. Have the probes monitoring everything constantly and making adjustments as necessary. I THINK this is a good idea but I'm still doing my research.

I like the idea of automation simply for the animals' sake. I feel that the more consistency I can provide, the better their life will be. Many are telling me this is overkill but at the same time, I don't want to strive to be a mediocre owner. I want to strive to give an animal as long and happy a life as I can in captivity.
