    Computer Problems
So... I got home from work yesterday to find that my ex roommate had stopped by to get more of his stuff. Unfortunately he also took my computer.

Any chance of getting it back ?!

Isn't there someway of gaining control of it by REMOTE ...?

You can let somebody from across the world control your curser and PC by REMOTE so anything is possible !

Just thinking outside the box ( casing ) .

Just wondered if they had the operating system password protected or something they may be a way of accessing it and causing some grief :)

I don't think I can remote access it, but I had changed the password recently so he can't simply log in, and I filed a police report. I don't know where he lives right now, but I gave the police his aunt's address so they can check there and maybe get another lead. I also had my apartment manager come change the locks today and my step-dad stayed at my apartment while I went to work to make sure he didn't come back for more.

That's not a computer problem, that's an ex-roommate problem. I hope the police can help you out.

Do you have renters insurance? It's dirt cheap and covers things like this.
