    Silly question
With heat gradients, does anyone have a preference for which side of an enclosure is the basking side? I set my BP's tub up with the right side as the warm side, and I just noticed it would feel really weird to have it reversed. Is it common to have a left/right gradient preference?

With racks, the warm side is always on the far (back) end. :)

I have all of mine with the warm side on the right at the moment, but when I just had 2 sitting on a shelf together I had them right next to each other so the warm side was on the left in one and the right in the other, so both heating pads were in the middle of the shelf.
