T3 vs. T10
Considering just going right to the Animal Plastics enclosures... but, if I do that, I'll have a big space for small juvenile.
So... If I go with a T3, and I use a divider, I assume I'm ok with putting a ball on one side and a corn or kingsnake on the other? How long you think I can keep them in there, before upgrading each to their own 36" long space?
How about T8? How long before I need to upgrade? This assumes both come in as juvies.

Strait up I would never get a t3 for the simple fact your going to be mad you didnt buy a 48" long enclosure... Best thing for your situation is a t10. $199.
You dont need 24" high and the T8 at 12" high is harder to clean being a low ceiling so the T10 is 15" high and 48" long. You can keep the ball in there on one side for a couple years. Thats 24"x24" each side.. Once theyre adults id give them there own T10's. They stack awesome too.
My snakes are pets, i love watching them at night ect and they will stretch out and climb around if you give them the space... You also need to think about a T-Stat to run two sides or two different enclosures at some point. I use herpstats 2's, then I run 2 RHP off one Tstat. $195 and worth every penny.

T10 sounds very nice. Its the wife that needs convincin'.
:)
But, I'll take care of that.
With the T10s, you said they stack nicely. With just one, will it fit on a basic 48x24 fishtank stand? Or, is there something more commonly used?

Funny you should ask that! I use a tank stand thats 48"Lx 13"D so I cut a 1/2" sheet of plywood to 48x24, painted it Black and center it over the stand. Works perfect.

I think I might already have a 48x13 stand somewhere too... from my old 55 gallon fish tank.
Thanks.

YES THATS THE SIZE HAHHHA.. I also drilled 4 holes and used 4 Small L brackets and put a shelf across for my Herpstat and cleaning products.
In this picture below I had just made shelves for the stand and the Black wood leaning on the wall behind my quarantine tank was for the Top piece (48"x24") so the AP enclosure would sit supported.. Perfectly stable.
