Bioactive Setup Help (Suitable for baby or adult)
Hello, I'm hoping to convert my 6-month-old western hognose's terrarium into a bioactive setup in the summer this year. 😃

How can I begin to go about this?

    Thanks!

Small input, I'm hoping for the substrate to be able to sustain populations of springtails and/or isopods.

I was hoping to see more input on this. Your best bet is probably checking out some frog forums they should have loads of info for going bioactive. I've contemplated the idea before but never looked too far into it

I was as well even tho I'm having a hard enough time with my Hoggie eating. I would imagine it can be done but since they require low humidity it may make things a lot harder than if you had more of a tropical animal.
