    HIgh activity level
Since I've transferred my boy to his new tank he seems slightly more active. His temp/humidity is on point. No issue there. He seems to like his hides. They're bigger than the last ones because he grew.

However, these days it isn't uncommon for him to be half in and half out of the hides. Hanging out with his head out like a dog/dog house. Sometimes he is halfway out of the hides and hanging out half on top of them.

Right now at 12:30 in the day he was fully out and nosing the top of the screen in the corner. Now, granted, tonight is feeding night.

If he hungry (e.g. am I feeding him enough?). He gets a small rat every 7-10 days. He is about 18-20 months old and weights 980 grams. He is a good three feet long I believe.

So I guess what I want to knew, is: Is this activity okay for him or is he stressed? He eats regularly. He is excreting and pooping okay. Maybe I just have a fairly social snake??

I've read that changing the snake's environment can cause it to stress. After a week or so it should settle down

The "half in , half out" of the hide usually means they are ready to eat.

Its like "hello there, food ??" ;)
