Thank you to everyone who offers help for newbies!!
When I got my little guy in July last year it quickly became apparent he had not been cared for properly, was most likely never fed, and obviously starving. He dropped from 55g at "6 weeks old" to 48g before I finally got my husbandry on track and located live prey he would actually strike at. I was so misinformed and absolutely clueless, even though I had studied and followed instruction to the letter. Apparently 80% of the world has no freaking clue how to properly care for these beauties... any way THANK YOU!! To everyone who helped me and offered advice. I'd like to proudly show off how much my little Juju has grown!

From sickly thin (Taken late July 2016 supposedly 8 weeks old)

To a beefy, healthy, happy boy (Taken 2/17/17 approximately :snake:8.5 months old and weighing in at 502g empty and roughly 37inches long)

He's a day or two away from being in blue here so his colors are rather dull, and he's just a pastel but I sure think he's pretty. I'll take some more, and better, photos of him once he's shed and shiny again.

    Thanks again everyone!!

Nice snake and awesome that you got him healthy again. I agree with you though, this forum is great for beginners!

    That's awesome, good work! :D

The first photo of the sunken belly makes me cringe... I remember seeing a post (a very long time ago) of a new owner who had a baby BP with a sunken belly like that (but even worse), posted some selfies, and didn't have a clue her snake was abnormally unhealthy. People offered help and advice, but literally a day later, she posted her snake had died. You could have possibly saved yours just in the nick of time!
