    ok i just took rocky out to hold him and i looked under neith and theres a little pink running half way down his body. im really getting fre4aked out cuz i think it might b thermal burns. but on my thermometer its only 92 degrees and i have a thermostate to keeps the temps atraight. please help me i have no idea what this could b

    Ball python bellies generally turn a pinkish color right before shedding. When was the last time he shed? What are you using for heating?

    Sounds like a Shed is coming, I wouldn't freak out at all. Give it a week and I bet things will look alot more obvious.

    ya...probably shed time. You have to be confident in your setup...if your temps read 92 deg. and they are reading correctly....I doubt it would be thermal burns.

    whoa this makes me feel a lot better but he could go into a shed cycle that fast even when he shed just last month? i hope he's growing fast i just bought him a bigger tank. and yesterday was the first time he bite me. i moved realy fast taking him out thats y he nipped me

    my bps shed every 1-1.5 months. It all depends on how fast the snake is growing. It is kinda like buying a new pair of pants to them...ha

    the other day i got an awsome measuerment he was perfectly straight 4 me he measures 38 inches in lengh. i wanna measuer his weight i have a food scale but he wont star put in that.

    Our b.p. shed once only 2 weeks apart LOL. I was sure freaked on that as I didn't realize they could shed so quickly when they are young. Ours generally gets a very pink belly and then the typical dull coloring/blue eyes of an impending shed.

    Just to reassure you my BP belly turns pink every time he sheds I really wouldn't worry. I totally agree with Daniel on this one.
