YAHOOOOOOooooo!

Dang, I just had to get on here and let the herp world know. My new one (From hence forth dubbed "Loki") ate today.........Yepeeeee, you are all probably thinking I am some kind of moron but yaaaahooooie! After the three torcherous weeks with my poor missed Felix, what a relief. I ain't ever seen something move that fast. Loki did not hesitate, wack, squish, a quick look around to make sure everything was cool, then "SLURP" down the hatch, and back into the hide to chill. I have had Loki for only a week now, but I figured what the heck I would give it a try, and it worked out well.

Sorry for the appearance of being a fool, just couldn't help myself. Thanks to everyone who has ever given me advice.

I still get excited at feeding time. Thats a good way to know if you really like snakes...ha ha. Congrats on the first feeding, hopefully many more to come:D

oh ya...and I am glad you decided on Loki....now I wont be tempted...I need no more mischief around here....we just got a kitten...ha

Heck Ray the first time Baby fed my husband and I had to run out of the room to hoot and holler and do the high 5 thing LOL. Now with the rehab one, Punkin, we are even more ridiculously thrilled!

It's so very cool that Loki ate so well for you first time out (and what an excellent name choice btw). Amazing the power in these snakes isn't it.

You go ahead and be excited. We've all been there (and will be again with each new snake) and you deserve it after the hard road with Felix.
