    Grain mites harmful to snakes?
So, long story short, my husband and I had a slight infestation of grain mites from our failed meal worm colony. When I found them I freaked out, afraid they were snake mites, but they aren't.. needless to say, we've got rid of thr meal worm colony and are now in the process of cleaning snakes and bins. Only 2 snakes enclosures seem to have been inhabited by some of the traveling grain mites, but just to be safe, I'm treating the snakes and enclosures with snake mite sprays and such.
Has anyone ever heard of this? And I know the notes originate from grains and plants, and therefore wouldn't seem to be blood-suckers?

    CALM Pythons
There are several types of Mites.. Including wood mites some people have been getting from a bag of substrate they bought.. None seem to bother with snakes or people but they can infest things in your home/pantry ect...

    Okay.
I just want to be sure that they won't harm the snakes, even if they're really annoying for a week or so until any remaining ones we may have missed die out.
