The first ever lock at RAD House
I was very excited for my first pairing ever when I put Clyde into Bonnie's tub yesterday evening. I was even more ecstatic when I peaked in today and saw my first lock. I am proud of my boy for getting right to it. I can not wait to watch this whole life process unfurl.

What's the substrate incidentally ?
Looks very similar to the orchid / reptile bark I use over here in the dismally cold UK :)

I like the dark colour of it - darker substrates show off the snake colours so well .
I saw a photo yesterday of a stunning Snow Hognose morph .... Brilliant white and beautiful but it was on that horrid aspen stuff and it just blended into the substrate rather than standing out .
