    Tub upgrade and humidity questions.
It's time for a tub upgrade! Sammy is now 550 ish so I picked up his forever tub. However, it's not really a 28qt, but similar. It basically has the same measurements. It's 24 3/8 by 14 1/8 by 6 1/8. Is this ok? Also I just expanded the ReptiChip block. I've been plucking holes until I get the humidity right. So far it's been staying at 87%. However the ReptiChip isn't dried up yet. So what do you think? Should I put him in the tub? Or pluck some more holes? I don't have a rack, it's a stand alone tub. So far I have 48 holes in the tub.

I don't see a problem with this, compared to the breeders that have the condensation in they're tubs very high. That has to be 90% and up. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The humidity and ventilation sound good. Just make sure that your snake isn't constantly sitting on something wet. You don't even want damp, you want humid. If the bedding is too wet you might want to leave one side of drier then the other by not misting it.

I'm not an expert, but it sounds like everything is right. : )

Yeah most of it is dry, just a couple pieces are damp. It'll dry up! Thanks.
