2 Ball pythons keep staring at each other?

So i i have a male and female ball python and their enclosure is right next to each other and they are out of their hides just staring at each other? could this be stressful for both snakes or is it something else?

He is trying to get his herp game on and she is probably saying "In your dreams buddy"...
