    Lasko Space Heater
Would you guys recommend a Lasko Space Heater for a reptile room? ☺

I'm thinking of getting one for the winter months and any form of input is acceptable. Thanks!

I personally would avoid the fan ones. I use radiating oil filled radiator types and they work good. I use http://www.homedepot.com/p/1-500-Wat...218H/202295910 and it heats my whole basement where I keep my snakes. I keep it under half setting as anything above that and it gets too hot for comfort. And it's a full size basement like 20'x20'. I also keep my house set to 77F though but it works nicely.

Nice! I'll look into the oil filled radiator. Any fire hazards?

Same as anything else, don't put it close to flammable stuff like furniture or drapes. Don't lay stuff on it. I pretty much keep mine in the middle of the room behind the couch about 2 ft away. It has wheels and I have it on a carpeted floor and the carpet is fine.

I got the Lasko 5307 space heater running on a ranko (and a backup stat) on Low power and its been working great. Its a ceramic heater but with analog controls so you can control it with an external thermostat. I considered getting an oil filled heater but decided against it as I figured it wouldn't be as effective without having a fan pointed at it as a heater with a fan built in.

(I keep my room in the low 70s during the winter though so I can't speak from experience about keeping the room at higher temps using this heater)
