Just a general moan

OK im gutted, I have had my BP about 6 months now and love every minute of it. When I first got him I watched videos and researched loads and saw people saying once you have 1 BP you will want more. How right are they.

I do not have the room or the correct wife to let me have another one and I know I cant but I would love at least another one now. I did not know before I purchased my first BP how many morphs and how many lovely colors and great looking snakes are out there.

At least the one I have is looked after and healthy and I shall look after him for as long as he lives.

Lol, I have the opposite problem in that I don't have the correct husband! He's okay with me collecting, but not until we have more room where he doesn't have to deal with them (He says he's not afraid, but I know otherwise... and I'm not going to rub it in his face).

I'm actually planning on having a separate building when I can save up the money. We would like a separate barn/steel building anyway, and I'm going to have a portion of it walled off for an office area and insulated with heat. He can have the garage space and the office will be mine, and he can't complain about how many snakes/reptiles I put in it!

My wife told me it was me or the snakes... I sure am going to miss her :~).

on a less serious note, have her watch the old monty python skit about living in a shoe box in the middle of the road and after it's over, subltly drop the comment that BP's are actually pretty happy in a space about the size of a shoe box. if she warms up to having a second one in a smaller enclosure, then over time mention that "shoe boxes" can easily be stacked and its practically as easy to feed and care for several as it is one :') ... having just one could be seen as an inefficient use of time and resource. normalizing the obsession is an art, it takes patience and a keen sense of timing.
