Humidity and cage size for crestie

I've recently began to care for a young tailess crested gecko and I know their humidity has to be above 50% but I'll heavily spray geckos habitat getting it to 60-70% but in about 2-3 hours the humidity drops to 30%. Would putting him in a smaller cage help or is there anything I can do to prevent humidity loss?

Smaller enclosures are typically easier to keep humidity and temperature at desired values than larger ones. Larger enclosures are better for heat gradients.

For a small crested, a very easy solution is a small, but slightly taller tub (like this). Just put paper towels on the bottom and something for him to hide in (fake plants, ball up paper towels/newspaper, or cardboard toilet paper rolls all work). However, you need to change out anything non-plastic like paper towels and cardboard fairly regularly (say once per week) as mold and bacteria can build up in them. I mist mind twice per day on the sides of the enclosure and not the paper towels themselves.

For food/water, you can use small disposable cups in a ledge like this one or better yet, this one.

What size enclosure is your gecko currently in and how big is he?

For an hatchling to a juvy you want a small critter keeper which will allow them to find their food.

Adult the minimum should be 12x12x18 bigger is better but the height should be your priority.

As far as humidity depending on the area you live in misting twice a day maybe necessary. Do it once in the morning and once before going to bed.
