Ball pythons and Nassau county border questions
Hello,
I figured I'd seek insight on here about this.
I am a small hobbyist who is along the Queens county/ Nassau county border. I am planning a move in the very near future and am planning this around my ball pythons as well (as any responsible hobbyist would do). I'm looking at property along the Nassau county border for the sheer ease of transportation (typical New Yorker here with no car).
My question is this: How would I go about mentioning a reptile room with a prospective landlord, owner, seller, etc? I have absolutely zero intention of parading my ball pythons in public, but as a responsible owner, I do not want to add anymore fuel to legislation that ball python owners are subject to.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know what you feed but some will worry about the rodents, explain f/t to them so they don't think you will have rodents running around.

I was thinking about that, since BP are relatively new to me. (2+ years in the hobby)
I only do F/T since live rodents are more work than the reptiles they feed. I'd rather spend a few extra bucks a month in stocking frozen rodents.

Also, BP are legal outside the 5 boroughs here. Many people have large collections within the 5 boroughs, so it's to my understanding that it's not enforced here. Much like jay walking.
