    Nubbin, my miracle baby
    Hey all,

Nubbin came from a 6 eggs clutch from a young pastel spotnose girl. I was out of town for few days when the female layed her clutch, and my hubby put them into the prepared egg box.
After 3 weeks of incubation I controlled them and I found one egg a bit collapsed with mildew on. The problem was that side of the egg touched the wet box wall. I thought I can give a chance for the little one, so I replaced in the box, brushed off most of the mildew and powdered the critical part with activated carbon powder.

Weeks running, and every 2nd or 3rd day I cleaned and powdered the egg.

At day 62 Nubbin came out without absorbing the yolk. 25g sweetness.

Post hatch control with siblings, she's near the left wall with her head laying on a spotnose. (No, their box wasn't that dry before someone pointing out ;) )

After two weeks she still didn't shed and I worried for her life, so I gave the smallest stuff what I had, and that was an 11g F/T pinky rat.
    Surpriseingly she took it..
