Newly Purchased Male SD Albino Retic (White Phase), Opinions on his size please
    Hi Everyone,

I recently purchased a Super Dwarf Albino Retic from Bob Clark.

When emailing bob, I asked for a 2016 62.5% SD Albino, and he confirmed this before shipping.

When he shipped me the animal (Which is beautiful btw), I noticed he seemed kinda large for a hatchling Super Dwarf. (More like a hatchling Mainland)

When I asked Bob if he could provide a hatch date and local info he replied with,

"hatched 3/15/15 from a breeding of 75% sd albino to 50% sd albino"

When he replied with a hatch date of 03/15/15, I thought, wow, my SD retic is tiny!

I dont really mind, that he's a 2015 (IF he is, maybe it was a typo).

But can anyone confirm that he is okay size for being a 03/15/15

I posted a video of me onboxing him on my instagram @KingCouperi aka

    instagram.com/kingcouperi

**No i'm not trying to get views or followers**

but I would really like some opinions on those who have experience. Thank you!

    Post a picture here.

Bob is very credible and I'm guessing you have what he says you have.

My 06-01-16 male from Vital Exotics is a tad over 4' long and quite lean. He is SD and Dwarf so he should be larger, but feeding plays a role.

Grats. My 37.5% SD 31.5% dwarf was born 5-18-16 and he's about 5'

How about a link to the video or post a photo? My SD / dwarf is very long and super skinny, I think he was massively under fed. Length doesn't really matter, I think my SD is about five feet long but skinny as a rope LOL. I just fed him a medium rat tonight, didn't think he would take it but he did. Now that he is on medium rats I can put some serious girth on him.

Also be prepared for a bottomless pit. Caesar eats like no ones business. I got him when he was 5 months old and he was eating weaned/small rats or chicks or quails every 4 days. Now after about 3 months, I've moved him to every 7 days on medium rats or quails or chicks and he is usually tearing it up by day 5 or camping the door I slide open to feed him lol. Also if you have access to chicks or quails, try them. Caesar LOVES poultry. With rats, he will grab them, coil them and then let go and sniff them awhile before eating but with chicks or quails, he slams them, wraps them like a Christmas gift and doesn't let go ever haha. There is no sniffing or looking around with them, its all about getting it down as fast as possible haha.
