    BP Strikes Abdomen of Mouse?
So this weekend I fed Cleopatra for the second time. And for the second time she's struck the belly and coiled from there. The first time she tried to eat it tail first and after thrashing it around for about 10 minutes finally took it the correct way. This past weekend same thing just a little quicker.

Will she eventually strike the head first and eat it that way or will she continue to make me laugh?

I would upload the video but it's not working.

They eventually figure it out. How are you presenting? If you present with tongs, try grasping the rodent by the shoulders and kind of point the head towards the snake. You give them a better chance to grab the head. Id they don't its no biggie. They will adjust and eat it anyways.. Also, make sure you are warming up the head. The heat is what they are striking at.

I do use tongs but they're kind of small and I always end up dropping it so that could also be a problem. I'll try that next time!
