Rex Missed!

For the first time since I got him in December of 2003, Rex missed a strike!

He was about to snag a mouse and it was like he changed his mind at the last second. It looked like a checked swing that went too far in baseball.

The next time, ol' Rex was his usual precise self. Dinner is digesting quietly as you read this.

I haven't seen one of those yet. My rescue did strike at the heat lamp last night when I turned it on. I guess I'm going to have to turn it on and then put it in place. Both of mine have been in eating overdrive. I upped her to two mice last Saturday and she already looks like she in hunting mode.

Glad to her ol Rex got down his meal even with a false start ;)
