    Has anyone had any experience with the so called "Ball Python Nidovirus"?
    Came across this info today. Never even heard about this before, sounds pretty gnarly..

    I wonder if some bad respiratory infections that don't seem to respond to antibiotics very well were actually this virus ?
    I've read that it is very contagious, but incubation period varies.

    Something else to beware of and this just confirms how important STRICT quarantine is, esp. if a new snake is a rescue, store bought or from a expo (exposed to many others, not from closed collection)

    Has anyone had a "confirmed" case of this ? Or knows of one ? Did the snake survive ??
