Best BP Book(s)?

Is there a "definitive" book on BPs?
I'd rather stay away from the "introductory" books that the large chain stores carry.
Once I have a couple BPs going, I may start breeding and need a good reference.

I'm relatively new here, but I've been told that The Ball Python Manual by Philippe de Vosjoli/Roger Klingenberg, DVM/Tracy Barker is the best one that's currently out there. I've read there's another one due out, but forgot by who.


I ordered mine from Amazon.com and am waiting for delivery.

i have that one and i do agree that it is very good but all the info that is in that manual can be found on this site and then some.

Ha ha... If feel the same way. I actually print out good posts in threads(mostly Adam's...ha...I am about to use his description on how to build an incubator from along time ago....my female hit 910g today...better get ready for next year :D). I also print out info from breeder pages and put them(with the printed threads) in a notebook that I keep. That way I don't have read off a computer screen or try to find an old post, all I have to do grab my created book off the shelf....but I do have The Manual tucked in the front cover :D
