She's very pretty! How old is she? How long after you got her did she eat first? I got my male BP last Thursday and he hasn't eaten yet.

I did a google search on Pet Snake Names to get some ideas. Although I had already fallen in love with The Snake Keeper, Colette's first snake's name of Kashmire, so I picked that for him after asking if she minded.

    Here's one link: http://www.ophioservices.com/pet_snake_names.htm

And another: http://www.petnamesworld.com/names_for_snakes_1.html (this one is cool, because you can find the meaning of names too and specify for certain genders - I almost chose Keeran for my snake because it was Celtic for "Little Dark One".)

Are you using an oil based woodchip bedding for your new BP?

I got her and set up the tank and let her sit for a week and get used to her new home. I touched her once during the whole week just because i couldnt resist, but she destroyed her dinner!

No, that will work just fine. the only problem you will find with it is that it isn't very absorbent so you'll have to clean the actual cage more often. Plus it doesn't look very comfy..lol but that's another topic.

You may want to use an aspen as this is totally easy to spot clean and very absorbent, also newspaper works very well.
